The Breastival was an amazing event! There were multiple vendors with great deals and wonderful items (for example I purchased some cloth diapers for way less than retail) There was also multiple resources and information about health and breastfeeding and some really fun activities for my kids including sign language, music, and yoga! And best of all it was all completely FREE, it was a wonderful day spent with the family and I would highly recommend this event to breastfeeding families !
Here at COBFC we’re always up to new and excited things related to the joys of breastfeeding. Keep up with us!
Founded in 1990, the Colorado Breastfeeding Coalition, COBFC is a volunteer organization comprised of physicians, nurses, public health officials, dietitians, lactation consultants, counselors, and members of the business community who have led the way for Colorado children to be breastfeeding at the highest rates in the nation. The coalition works closely with the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children to reach communities which have historically had low breastfeeding rates.
